Hey Reader,

This week it's been in the high 70s and low 80s, mosquitos and flies are out, and it doesn't feel like mid-November. However, something shifted in my brain this week and I'm READY to start thinking about Thanksgiving & Christmas now.

Rachel Jankovic famously said, "When you are behind on life, get ahead on Christmas."

That sounds good right about now. Who’s with me? 🙋‍♀️

Jason and I have had a lot of chats this Fall about how we want to do Christmas a bit differently. We want to form deep and meaningful traditions that bond our family together.

​
We want to have a greater emphasis on gift giving that are heartfelt and handmade when possible. We want to focus on gifts that help cultivate skills or hobbies instead of a lot of plastic that will be broken the next day.
​
​We want to cultivate an atmosphere of giving rather than receiving and we want that to involve a lot of baked goods as well 😆​
​
This year, for the first time, we will be doing the full 12 days of Christmas starting Dec 25th and ending Jan 5th. We are shifting the way we celebrate and the entire family is very excited about it. We are moving our celebrations throughout the year to align more with the liturgical calendar.​
​

Eek!! We are almost there. Our Christmas shop will be opening Wednesday, November 13th.

Our Christmas shop will feature DOZENS of new items just in time for Christmas! There will be some fantastic Christmas presents featured. This is our largest shop opening of the year and our GREATEST shop opening we've ever had!
